Dickinson starts his letter by stating he is happy to hear about the recovery of his father; he then mentions "the two Gentlemen from Oxford" that came to his house. Copy of a pamphlet entitled "Ceremonial in Scotland on the death of Her Majesty The Queen", printed on the occasion of the ceremonies in Edinburgh following the death of Queen Elizabeth II on the 8th of September 2022. Because she died in Scotland, "Operation Unicorn" was triggered, and a procession, a ceremony, and a lying-at-rest period were organised for her in Edinburgh and at St Giles' Cathedral on the 12th and 13th of September 2022.
